- Waterlogging: parts of the wider Varthur belt flood in heavy rain. Visit in the monsoon and check the drainage around any plot.
- No metro today: commuting is by road until the Red Line opens.
- Road-widening zones: check that a property is not affected by land acquisition for road widening.
